1. I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been having a tough few months. I am pleased to hear you’ve regained your positivity and that your husband is getting some assistance with his mental health issues (though I am quite shocked at how long you’ve had to wait for a neurologist appointment, I had no idea!) Thinking of you and if it helps, do continue to write (even if just privately).

  2. Pia, I can barely breathe reading all of this. Firstly, we’re not only here for the financial stuff. People and life are more important than spending reports or savings rates. Always.

I have more to say, but I wanted to get this posted. Don’t forget about you in this maelstrom. Take care of yourself. We’re here to listen. We care.

  3. Damn. Sorry to hear this, Pia. Well done for coming out the other side with some positivity!

20 million sperm per ml?! Jeez, who would guess that?

It’s a credit to you, that this hasn’t crushed you financially. Saving less or not at all is absolutely fine when this stuff hits. Being able to live on one spouses wage is such a powerful backup plan.

Hopefully life is a little kinder in the next few months 🙂

Have your say
